The scouting foundation "Pfadfinder Förderer Stiftung" supports scouting and youth work in Germany. It enables places where children and young people can develop in harmony with nature. Our foundation feels obliged to the call of the founder of the international scout movement, Lord Baden Powell, that every person should leave the world a little better than he or she found it. The aim of the foundation is to secure scouting as well as the properties of the Pfadfinder Fördererkreis e.V., beyond the present, for future generations. In addition, the foundation offers projects and events for successful leisure activities.
The scout movement is the largest youth movement in the world. It began in England in 1907 and experienced a rapid expansion. It is estimated that more than 60 million children and young people worldwide currently belong to the scout movement and are shaped by the values of the movement.
In 1968, the Pfadfinder Fördererkreis e.V. was founded to provide the scout groups with places for their adventures. Some huts, houses and camping sites have been rented, leased or bought and operated in the past decades. The Pfadfinder Fördererkreis e.V. founded our Pfadfinder Förderer Foundation in 2017.
Due to the Corona crisis, the Pfadfinder Förderer Foundation suffered considerable financial losses, as several youth groups had to cancel their leisure activities in the huts and houses of the Foundation. Since the foundation has to cover running costs, we are now dependent on YOUR donation. We would be very happy if YOU would help us to keep our foundation alive. EVERY EURO COUNTS!
