Child care and education are the cornerstones of a healthy society. Happy, nurtured children grow up to be balanced caring adults. Support us in making a difference and providing the base for a better world!
We are a group of parents dedicating our free time to running and managing an afternoon care club for primary school children in Cologne. We believe that education is crucial for the development of children into responsible and caring individuals and thus for a better society at large.
In our local community, we offer an afterschool programme where professional educators take care of the children in a familiar atmosphere and support them through various activities. This includes fresh meals, which are lovingly prepared on site.
The after-school club is 100% privately funded as the City of Cologne has rejected any kind of financial support. In order to be able to provide both children and parents an enduring care we need YOUR support. I am taking part in the Cologne marathon on October 13th to raise money for the club. Your help will be much appreciated. Get involved by donating – in return, you will of course get a tax-deductible receipt, but more importantly you’ll be part of the change you want to see in the world!
