About this project

T. Biermann from Kraft für Tiere e.V. is responsible for this project
Life on the streets is tough! They are ill, hungry and hopeless. They have been abandoned.
Car crashes often occur, the dogs are killed or injured. They are often victims of human cruelty.

Nobody cares about the animals!

Nobody?

That's not completely true, there are a few people who help those poor animals. A few women founded the association “Un Cane per Amico" in 2011. “Un Cane per Amico"  functions to provide medical care, vaccinations, rehabilitation, and sterilization to street dog population. Animals in need of long-term care, will be assisted during the week or cared for at the Volunteers.

The commune has provided them with just a few small empty barracks on the parking of the garbage truck. Almost everything is missing here. Nevertheless, they invest their time, strength and energy every day, regardless of the weather, to rescue them.

Help us to help with your donation:

  • 10€ for an allopurinol pack for one month for the treatment of Leishmaniasis* (typical Mediterranean disease)
  • 30€ Laboratory tests for diagnosing and monitoring health problems
  • 40€ Seresto collar as insect repellent
  • 50€ 12 kg of good quality dried food
  • 150€ costs for the operation sterilizations

100% of your donations serves street dogs in need.

We may not be able to change the world overnight, but we will not allow that to be an excuse to do nothing.
We are working to change something…one dog at a time.
Please help us in our mission.

*Leishmaniasis, the medical term used for the diseased condition that is brought about by the protozoan parasite Leishmania, can be categorized by two types of diseases in dogs Leishmaniasis is diagnosed in the hematology laboratory by direct visualization of the amastigotes (Leishman–Donovan bodies). The infection is acquired when sandflies transmit the flagellated parasites into the skin of a host. The main organ systems affected are the skin, kidneys, spleen, liver, eyes, and joints. There is also commonly a skin reaction, with lesions on the skin, and hair loss.
