Ein warmes Mittagessen macht Kinder stark für die Zukunft. Daher ist es wichtig, dass alle Kinder garantiert am Schulessen teilnehmen können. Bis auf einen Euro täglich ist diese warme Mahlzeit finanziert. Doch den einen Euro, den die Eltern dazu bezahlen müssen, können sich viele Familien nicht leisten. Die Initiative „Mach Mittag“ wirbt seit Juni 2015 für Spenden, um allen Kieler Kindern ein warmes Mittagessen zu ermöglichen.
