Learning at a new school without a chair? Furniture for Munyu Academy

The German organization Verein Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe Munyu/Kenia e.V. has helped building Mary Magdalene Academy, a new school in Munyu/Kenia. Our aim is quality education for the children which is affordable for their parents. 

With our support, the new building of Mary Magdalene Academy was inaugurated in August 2016 with Caridinal John Njue from Nairobi. The number of pupils has steadily increased but chairs and tables are still missing. The children use old church benches as their tables and the teachers manage with old table tennis boards in their staff room. Working effectively is impossible.

What is best about your donation? The furniture will be produced in the nearby Maria Magdalena Sheltered Workshops, a facility for persons with disabilities. So both institutions will benefit from your donation!
