Create a new world to feel, see and hear:
The daycare center Vogelstang in Mannheim cares for handicapped persons. Our MBA class wants to create an "experience garden" with a barefoot path, a sandbox and other elements. This will provide more variety to the day-to-day care-taking.

Daycare center Vogelstang of Gemeindediakonie Mannheim: The goal of the daycare center is to provide solutions to include persons that need help. The team offers customized support for currently 39 persons, who are handicapped in a way that normal participation in society is not possible. Offerings range from group drumming, experiencing arts, swimming to occupational therapy.
The experience garden: The daycare center has a large, but yet unused outdoor area. We team up with the daycare center to build an "experience garden". The garden will contain a barefoot path that can be used for therapies. Furthermore, we are planning to include elements to experience sounds, a sandbox, benches for sunbathing and a nest swing.
Opening of the garden: We plan to build the garden in June and open it with an event in July. If you are interested in joining the opening event in July, please contact us via email@example.com.
What you are donating for: We will do as much as possible with our own hands. We need the money mainly for buying the material for the garden and support for the professional installation of the structures. The main cost elements are the barefoot path including a rail, the sandbox, benches and the nest swing. Our current cost estimation gives us a fundraising goal of 25'000 Euro. Depending on the donations, we have the flexibility to add further elements to the garden.
MBA class: We are a diverse group of 52 people from around the world, currently doing our MBA at Mannheim Business School. As part of this we want to support the local community with a sustainable social project.
