Achromatopsie: ist eine angeborene, seltene Augenerkrankung von der in Deutschland nur ca. 2.700 Menschen betroffen sind. Die Symptome der Achromatopsie sind:
 völlige Farbenblindheit
 geringe Sehstärke (nur 5 bis 10 %)
 starke Blendungsempfindlichkeit
 Augenzittern (Nystagmus)
Der Achromatopsie Selbsthilfeverein
 unterstützt Betroffene und Angehörige
 macht Erfahrungsaustausch möglich
 informiert über Hilfsmittel und Förderung
 gibt Tipps zur Alltagsbewältigung
 ist im Dialog mit Ärzten und Optikern
 beobachtet Forschung, Wissenschaft
