About this project

Nepal, as the southern neighboring country of Tibet, became and still is the destination for many Tibetans to flee from their homeland occupied by China, where they are massively prevented from practicing their religion, living their culture and leading a free, self-determined life. But Nepal is also a very poor country, which China has been taking advantage of for some time for strategic reasons - Nepal is the buffer state between India and Tibet with a long border with China's rival India - by offering economic and financial aid to the government. The price is high - in Nepal, political decisions are made as they suit China, and the executive acts as China demands. As a result, Tibetans who have fled are either sent directly back to China, where they face imprisonment and torture, or they are tolerated in Nepal, virtually disenfranchised, but here they are at the mercy of the authorities and the police. Often their papers are taken away from them and they are not given new ones. Even those who actually wanted to flee through Nepal to India are mostly prevented from continuing their journey. Tibetans are not allowed to take regular jobs, and their opportunities to become self-employed are also limited. A certain envy of many Nepalis for supposed privileges is added, since Tibetans are often more educated, industrious and enterprising, and also attract the interest of Tibetan Buddhists from all over the world. In the meantime, many Tibetans in Nepal are living a life of poverty through no fault of their own, without prospects and in constant fear of having to leave the country again for Tibet. They would like to offer their children a life in freedom, education and a future, but more and more often they cannot do it on their own. This is where Blütenherzen e.V. helps and enables the inquisitive and always grateful children to receive a very good school education, nutrition and medical care - which is generally lacking in Nepal, especially for Tibetans in exile.
The best way to help Tibet efficiently is to help Tibetan children. Through them the Tibet of the Tibetans and the Dalai Lama has a real future.
Please help, even small amounts help a lot. Together we can do a lot of good for the Tibetan refugee children in Nepal.
