Das historische Backhaus in Nordborchen soll restauriert werden, um für kleine Gruppen, Gesprächskreise, Vereinstreffen, bürgerliches Engagement und viele andere Gelegenheiten als Begegnungsstätte genutzt zu werden.
Zielsetzung ist die Förderung des Gemeinschaftssinnes, die Stärkung des sozialen Gefüges unter den Menschen des Ortes, vor dem Hintergrund historischer Entwicklung.
Dafür werden unter anderem Möbel, eine Teeküche mit Kühlschrank und Geschirr, Wasserversorgung und eine Ofenheizung benötigt.
