What is the Social Seminar about?
The Social Seminar is an educational project for social disadvantaged youth. Our aim is to convey appreciation to strengthen their self-confidence. In cooperation with comprehensive and lower secondary schools in social flashpoints, the Social Seminar is a complement, but also a contrast to the daily normal lessons.

How do we work?
In experimental and adventure based exercises the young people learn experience the consequences of globalisation and digitalisation, they learn the basics of the democracy and economic system and they talk about subjects like rassism or poverty. Our young, specially trained consultans are focussing on planning games and practial exercises.

Actually, we implement the Social Seminar at four schools in and around Dortmund. With your donation you support our aim to establish the Social Seminar at all schools in Dortmund.
