                           CLEAN DRINKING WATER FOR LIKUMBA / CAMEROON
We urgently need your support for our planned project: '' Clean drinking water for Likumba / Cameroon. '' A community of about 20,000 inhabitants, an urban village community between Douala and Buea in the south-west region of Cameroon. We involve in assisting the needy in Cameroon, support village communities who lack the financial and material resources to help themselves. The finances & material you donate are taken directly to the communities concern. We as a registered non-profit organization in Germany are there to assist the needy in Cameroon. We wish to build a sustainable clean drinking water for the Village community.

 

At the river source or water source we will build a water collector, catchment or dam with cement concrete. In the catchment we are to build a water filter system of filtration chambers of sand, gravel, charcoal and stones. From the collector, the filtered water is passed through PVC pressure pipes in to a water tank from where pressure pipes are connected into the municipality with several kilometers of distribution within the community with several drinking water taps. After construction, the children will not walk far off distances again to collect clean drinking water.
