About this project

In summer 2015, during our trip to Vietnam, my husband and me visited many poor villages and schools in Da Nang. Behind the endless white sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise water of Da Nang (many investors call Da Nang "the asian Rio de Janeiro") children live in poverty. For most of them, school remains a dream.

We raise funds to support motivated children who come from poor backgrounds.
The scholarship will cover school fees, books, school supplies, school uniforms and support for food for one school year in return for a commitment upon graduation to sponsor a Greenleaves's student for at least 2 years.

It is also possible to sponsor a child for a longer period of time.

A scholarship for primary school students is 55 €, for secondary school students 65 € (6th to 9th grade), for high school students 90 € (10th to 12th grade) per year. Our association has a contact person in Vietnam, Ms Anh Kieu, who volunteers to do the distribution of the scholarship. She is responsible for distributing the scholarships we send to her via either transferring money or delivering them directly to her when we travel to Vietnam. She is also responsible for sending us the reports with photos and details of how the donations were implemented. The children are also encouraged to write regularly to their sponsors and report on their progress at school.
All other expenses such as postage, telephone fees, travel expenses, etc., will be paid by ourselves. When in Vietnam, we'll visit the school using our own money. No donation money will ever be used for any expenses on our behalf!
With your support, project Greenleaves will come true. We are grateful for anything you can contribute; it will help these children tremendously!

We are a non-profit organization and finance ourselves solely by membership dues and donations - that's why we need your support!

The project is also supported by the dental practice
