Europe’s best kept secret
In the European Union, there are about 50 million people, who belong to a national minority or minority language communities. This is one of Europe’s best kept secrets. They make a strong contribution to the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe. Together with other Europeans they want to define the future of the European Union; a future in which not only official languages or dominant cultures, but also autochthonous minorities are taken into account. Therefore, the minority communities want protection and support for the preservation of their identity.

This is what the Minority SafePack Initiative calls for.

Minorities make Europe richer!

Help us with your donation so that we will be able to campaign across the EU and sign the petition for a better future for the national minorities and language communities of Europe!

The donations will be used to cover the costs of the campaign, e.g. for producing campaign materials in various languages, and for local events, all over Europe. This will be coordinator by the umbrella organisation of the minorities in Europe, the Federal Union of European Nationalities (FUEN). We will also work to convince political decision makers to support our case, so that the requested policy change on the European level can really be implemented. We work closely together with the approx. 100 member organisations of FUEN. These are minority associations in 32 different countries in Europe and their local networks.
