About this project

Mondesa Youth Opportunities
MYO supports 120 talented students in after-school care center with serving of meals, tutoring and cultural and musically offers in a township of Swakopmund. The support replenishes the national education and enables the students to get the intake to the Highschool and University.
I will work in a team of volunteers of the MYO and will help with teaching sports and music. I am really looking forward for that because I think it is a perfect match for me.

I already knew, that I don´t want to go to university right after school and want to take a break before studying again. Since I found the project of the Mondesa Youth Opportnities after a lot of research, I was enthusiastic about it:
Namibia is such a wonderful and versatile Land with stunning nature. It was not only the country, that attracted me, but the job in Swarkopmund.
I am a happy, cheerful soul and love to do something with kids. I have always done a lot of sports and I am a passionate musician. The thought to support youths with my passions and to learn from them myself is simply amazing for me.

If you want to know more about the project, you can watch this video:

To get support for my volunteer work, I hosted some concerts in my garden. At this point I want to thank everyone, who enables my stay because of their donation!

I am so excited for all the new experiences waiting for me.

In Namibia I will for sure continue to make music, write songs and report on my blog.

 "Don´t forget to smile today!"
