HAND OF HOPE INITIATIVE (Hope school)is a none-govermental and a pre - primary school for vulnerable children aged 2-7years,
The school was opened in 2007,with the aim to care for orphans and vulnerable children in the community.
It is located in Kenya,kiambu county, limuru sub county in misri village.
At the beginning, we had only five kids but currently we have 65 students that are all facing difficult social positions.
That children are drawn from:
- single parent with partial orphan.
- guardian with total orphan.
- street children.
- single parents where poverty is extreme.
- children who are infected or affected with HIV/AIDS.
And any other place where a child is in need of assistance.
Currently we have two rooms consisting of 65 kids, aged 2 to 7 years.
Our mission is:we intend to alleviate poverty and improve access to quality education and health care as well as mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS among vulnerable children.
