THIS IS LIGHTUP
We are young people who make our peers aware of human trafficking in our society and the circumstances in prostitution in Germany. Because we are convinced that the circumstances in the sex trade must be illuminated and human rights violations must be pointed out.
WE DREAM
- of a society in which human dignity is not violated by the sex trade and emergency situations are not exploited.
- of a world in which a life of freedom and equality does not remain a privilege for the few, but becomes a reality for all.
- of a future without human trafficking and exploitation, also in the food and fashion industry.
- of a young generation that not only puts a question mark behind the social acceptance of prostitution and labor exploitation, but is also committed to asserting human rights and freedoms with regard to this issue.
We inform young people with lectures, creative projects, local teams, information booths and events. In this way, we also motivate others to become active themselves in order to change something about the situation.
OUR GOALS
(based on human rights education)
- Informing and sensitizing (education/prevention)
- Discuss and reflect
- Activate and participate (empowerment)
