jobs4refugees - Empowering refugees to succeed on the labor market

Refugees bring high potential, specific skills, and diverse experiences to Germany. As a non-profit organization jobs4refugees has the goal to realize this potential. We connect refugees with employers and offer job application training. Employment is a crucial step on the path to successful integration. 

In our offices in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Cologne, our team works together with companies and refugees. Since 2016, we have successfully placed more than 700 refugees in jobs, apprenticeships, and training programmes. 

In German, English, Arabic, French and Swahili, we conduct personal interviews with candidates to explore their opportunities and create a plan. We offer job readiness training, individual coaching sessions, host mock job interviews and prepare application documents together with our refugee applicants. During training they dive into the formal application processes in Germany and we enable them to bridge cultural hurdles. 

At the same time, we work with companies interested in hiring refugees. We support them during the whole process of successfully employing refugees. Based on detailed job descriptions, we evaluate suitable candidates and arrange interviews for jobs and apprenticeships. Even after successful employment, we remain in contact with employers and employees, as we want to promote a sustainable working relationship.
