Donations for the animal shelter Erding

Around 60 cats are cared for at the Erdinger Tierheim every day. With an average stay of 6 to 8 weeks, we look after almost 700 cats in the course of a year - and the number is constantly increasing, partly due to modern problems such as animal hoarding and the online pet trade. Unneutered outdoor cats are also a major problem, leading to the uncontrolled reproduction of domestic cats. Owners are often overwhelmed with the offspring, so that many unwanted cats end up in animal shelters or are even abandoned.

The Erding animal shelter provides species-appropriate care for the animals until they are picked up or rehomed. As our facilities have to be cleaned regularly for reasons of hygiene, they wear out quickly and therefore often need to be replaced.

For this reason, we regularly launch appeals for donations to replace furnishings and make necessary purchases for the animal shelter.

In addition, we collect donations to realize larger projects such as construction projects on the animal shelter grounds.
