Starting May 2016 STARRING Aachen is establishing sport courses with refugees living in Aachen. These courses are organized in cooperation with Bürgerstiftung Lebensraum Aachen, Hêvî e.V and the city council of Aachen. The courses are mainly organized for young refugees, who are living by themselves or in temporary accommodations in and around the city centre of Aachen. The courses are supposed to help increasing the variety of everyday life and offer a chance to meet local people from Aachen. The courses take place on a regular weekly basis offering to get to know various sport activities on different days of the week. Since this sports programme is organized for fun rather than training for competative reasons, everyone who wants to participate is welcome to join anytime. The courses are taking place nearby the city centre of Aachen and are easily accessible by foot or a short bus ride. In order to reach more people and spread the means of these sports courses, STARRING Aachen is going organize regular pick ups at certain places in Aachen city centre and will guide you to your favourite sport course.
