Come Dine With Me dinner in SE England raises 180

 'COME DINE WITH ME' FUNDRAISING EVENING / MOBILE LIBRARY PROJECT   Fundraising efforts to take books to schools in remote parts of Sierra Leone kicked off with a  COME DINE WITH ME EVENING hosted by Nafisa and Edline on Friday 20th August 2010.   Nafisa and Edline were dressed in lovely African attire and laid down scrumptious African Dishes including Nafisa's much talked about Peanut butter Sauce and the irresistably addictive 'rice akara' Guests were charged £20.00 per head and the event raised a whopping £180.00 on the night.   The evening ended with guests scoring the hosts and the food out of 10, the average score for host was 9  and food was10.     The Trustees of Horizon Children's Programme extends their sincere thanks to Lisa, Jo, Simon, Tina, Simon, Richard, Trevor and Alison for a brillliant evening.      This is a relatively easy way of raising funds for the mobile library project which we are hoping to implement in the very near future.
