As an Ark, we opened a children's ranch in 2017. In a village setting in the state of Brandenburg, children can experience nature and animals up close - during vacations, on weekends or even on excursions during the week.
The direct contact with animals is intended to help stabilize children emotionally and increase their self-esteem. Children from disadvantaged backgrounds, whose everyday lives are often characterized by a high level of stress that slows down and endangers their developmental opportunities.
The Children's Ranch creates a learning space that supports children in many ways: Relief from everyday life, original nature experiences, unforgettable experiences that broaden their horizons. A place where children can also help out in a very practical way and take on responsibility, for example in caring for the animals.
Our grown Arche work gains further possibilities and additional quality through the Children's Ranch, from which many of our children benefit very concretely.
We are looking for financial support for the permanent operation of the ranch. With the individual needs, new options are regularly found as to how you can help us concretely.
