About this project
For this reason, DANET e.V. in cooperation with students from the University of Neu-Ulm and further cooperation partners organizes a meeting of the partners on July 8 – 10, 2016. People from 12 countries of the Danube-region are expected to meet in Ulm whithin the frame of this project according to the motto "Tastes of Danube. Bread. Wine. Herbs".
Herewith they want to tie up with the success of the preceding project “The wanted Danube” and the great motivation that developed among the participating organisations and single persons to further strengthen the “ribbon of friendship” along the Danube by joint activities.
For the time being, the project is planned to last for one year. Until July 2016 the focus is on the theme “bread”. In the countries, the partners are forming groups on a local and regional level, which perform different activities, for example baking bread, doing research on the use of bread as well as on religious and cultural bread and wine traditions, plant a garden with herbs, write texts, participate in a photo competition. The results are published on the website of the project - www.tastes-of-danube.eu – and give an insight into the various facets of cultural daily life.
With your support you help us to give participants of this project, who cannot afford the travel costs due to their financial situation, a chance to join this partner meeting.
