    About this project

    C. NTIENOU TCHIENGUE from WEBDEV FOUNDATION is responsible for this project
Project Purpose: Aid the process of struggle against underdevelopment in Bangoua by facilitating youth access to Information Technology and Communication.

    Beneficiary Population
    • Unemployed women living in the village
    • Young people of both sexes of secondary school

Project Description: Participate in the process of struggle against underdevelopment committed by African States.

Fundamental Reason: Strengthen socio-economic capacities of Bangoua people living in rural areas through access to knowledge of Information Technology and Communication.

Specific objectives: The development of social computing.
Popularizing information technology and communication at Bangoua, through the use of a social aspect which earned them the name of social computing. The achievements are focused on computer classes free for some women previously selected and the best students in four (04) secondary schools at Bangoua (High School, ESC, Evangelical College, CETIC).
80 students of both sexes and 12 women will be equipped with ICT each year for a month during the school holidays.

    Promoting Bangoua culture:
    - Educational tours to visit some tourist sites.
    - Friendly games of football will be held.
    - A tour of hospitals in the village with small gifts to patients. This visit will be with all those enrolled in the program under Social Computing, here we thus develop in youth the spirit of support, mutual aid and solidarity to develop the spirit of social responsibility in students.
    - Visit the Royal Museum Bangoua.
    - Human investments during the weekends, which increases in view of the joint initiative of the participants.

Benefits to the population: The beneficiaries are the people of Bangoua, and also people of the localities of Batoufam, Bangang-Fokam, Badréfam, Baloumgou, since Bangoua can serve the secondary educational institutions of all these localities. These people live in the countryside and for many the standard of living and their income does not allow some to afford computer training including that for which the costs are still high in Cameroon. Also access to the computer is a concept unusual in rural areas.

The training program will reach 80 best young students (both sexes), 12 women selected from among the best out of several women of Bangoua living in the village, who have demonstrated their good conduct and leadership in the group. All participants will contribute just by their availability.
