WHAT or WHO IS Shrijana Samajik Sewa Samaj (SSSS)?
Shrijana Samajik Sewa Samaj (SSSS) registered in 2014 as a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political, independent children’s home due to the staggeringly high number of impoverished children of Nepal due to war, domestic violence, natural disaster, poverty, and disease.
SSSS provides a safe & loving family environment for twenty [20] impoverished Nepali children through the physical & health care, educational opportunity, and emotional support that is necessary for child development, a sustainable future, and overall improved quality of life.
SSSS accepts children no matter race, gender, caste, or religion. Currently, only private donations fully support SSSS.
WHAT IS "HITCHHIKING FOR NEPAL"?
"Hitchhiking for Nepal" hopes to increase awareness of the current Nepali crises as well as raise donations for the SSSS children’s home.
The fundraiser trek will raise donations exclusively for the Shrijana Samajik Sewa Samaj (SSSS) Children’s home in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Ben volunteered in the orphanage for three weeks last year, experiencing the struggle these children face daily during these times of turmoil in Nepal. After keeping in touchh with the orphanage I have decided my hitchhiking from Iran to Nepal will be trekked with these children in the forefront of our minds and hearts.
We invite you to help us to help these children have a better, brighter future!
HOW WILL YOUR DONATION BE USED?
100% of the money raised will go toward the educational expenses of SSSS. Please refer to the pictures where we have included the educational section of the 2015/2016 annual budget. The final purchases will depend upon the funds raised. (121 Rupees = 1 EUR)
