    About this project

Raphael S. from Kinderherzen retten e.V. is responsible for this project
Congenital heart defects are among the most common types of birth defects in infants. Affected children with little access to medical facilities often have a low chance of survival. The association »Kinderherzen retten e.V.« (Save Children's Hearts) saves many of these young lives by once a year bringing around a dozen sick children and their guardians to Germany for treatment at the University Medical Heart Center in Freiburg • Bad Krozingen. Over the last 18 years, surgeons from »Kinderherzen retten e.V.« have successfully operated 257 children, providing them with a new lease on life.
