The situation in Northern Greece is fatal. Large parts of the Greek population are unemployed and with no income. Even middle-class families are now affected by the crisis and depend on help from their families or the community. Urgent food aid is needed quickly.
As in the previous year (more at www.aktion-hilfsconvoy.org) currently we are preparing another transport of food aid to Northern Greece. The convoy heads for social facilities in the cities of Kavala, Xanthi, Drama, Alexandroupoli and Komotini, where the goods will be distributed directly to families in need who were selected in advance by our local partners. Our local partners are children's homes, retirement homes, disability and rehabilitation centers and social food aid institutions.
Help those in need and support us with a donation. All donations we will use for the purchase of food. All helpers are volunteers and 100% of your donation will reach those in need.
