To protect the tailors of the Clean Planet Project against the forces of nature we would like to renovate the sewing building. But therefor we need your support.

The primary objective of the Clean Planet Project is to keep the Rumphi district (northern part of Malawi) environment clean off plastic especially plastic bags. The project is trying to reduce and avoid plastic garbage, with the focus on plastic bags. The usage of plastic bags in Malawi is huge.
To avoid the plastic bags, a women group is designing new, alternative bags. These bags (special designed with cotton) will be given to volunteers (as youths and children, but also adults), who are collecting plastic's in the environment. On the other hand they will be sold to interested people, to support the project with a financial amount and to ensure the long-term.
The project should spread the idea of using alternative bags, instead of plastic-bags. Furthermore the collected plastic will be recycled by a recycling company, and the women (working in the designing group) will get a secure income.
