    About this project

Christine und Georg K. from Freunde Südafrikas e.V. is responsible for this project
Until 3 years ago there was nothing for the children of Kleinkrantz, a small village about 10 kilometers from Wilderness/George, closed to the Indian Ocean in South Africa. The pre-school kids did play in the mud and did simply hang around. Crime, alcohol, and drugs were the consequences. The German Monika Bertels and the South African Watson Nyembe wanted to do something for the children and founded with a huge amount of work the so called "House on the sand" which is a center for children from the age of 1 up to 18. A whole set of services like Kindergarden, School After care or workshops should give the children hope, dignity and a perspective for their future life.
