    About this project

    m. tonny from Childcare project Uganda is responsible for this project
Our project started way back in 2006 with an objective of helping orphaned children access quality education. It came as a result of the increasing number of orphaned children due to the HIV/AIDS scourge in our village which left many young children with no parents to look after them. We currently have 6 staff working with childcare project Uganda. The project has a total number of 360 orphaned children and other vulnerable children of which 200 are girls and 160 boys. The children do not have access to schools fees, scholastic materials, school uniforms and lack of basic needs in their families. Once we receive these donations, the children will be able to attend school regularly, will be able to go for further education in higher institutions of learning and hence become self reliant later on.
