We believe in the idea of an unconditional basic income. But of course we cannot predict, if and how a basic income will affect the whole of society. This is why we thought: Let’s just give it a try!
We collect money via crowdfunding. Everytime we collect 12.000 €, we raffle them out to one person, to enable him or her so that he or she can experience basic income for the duration of a whole year with 1.000 € per month!
What this feels like, how their mindset changes and what it does with their lives can you discover on our website: www.mein-grundeinkommen.de. We want to tell their stories. By just signing up on our website unconditionally, you can win a basic income too.

Since Betterplace only allows donations for public benefit projects, you cannot donate directly for the draw pot here.
Why?
The work of the registered organisation “Mein Grundeinkommen” is approved as a “public benefit organisation”. This is why you can also get a donation receipt for donations to the organisation. Contributions that are going directly to the draw pot are not a public benefit, because the payment of an income without conditions and proof of need (yet) does not count as a public benefit in Germany. Therefore we cannot provide donation receipts for these contributions.
