The project Lifemanager aimed at people with a mental illness that is short or medium-term wish advice and support in their everyday lives. The project is coordinated and supported by full-time employees within the mental health care landscape, which are engaged unsalaried. From this practical activity, the realization found that many people want a very practical and at the same time low-threshold support with mental illness. This type of support is not always useful by a "professional". Rather, affected persons express the desire to be able to talk to someone about their problems, which they can really understand from personal experience.
