    About this project

    M. MacDuffee from Soul of Somanya, Inc. is responsible for this project
Please Help Disadvantaged Youth in Ghana Help Themselves! Soul of Somanya currently employs nine disadvantaged youth and young adults who are earning a living wage creating beaded products from the recycled-glass beads traditionally made in the Somanya area. Without these jobs, they are at risk for migrating to the larger cities, where many are forced into lives of crime, prostitution or begging in order to survive. However, the tools they have been using are almost worn out. Without them, they cannot continue making high-quality products that can be successfully marketed by our volunteers in more highly-developed countries.
