About this project

ATH e.V. is a not-for-profit organisation which has been committed to supporting the sustainable development of socially integrated projects in Africa, where we have been working directly with local projects since 2008.
Our exchange with our in-country partners helps us to understand their local needs and how to best get involved.
This collaborative approach ensures that all donations arrive directly where they are needed. Our voluntary activities and low administrative costs allow us to pass on an average of more than 97% of all donations received.
The majority of our support currently goes to the Another Hope orphanage in Uganda ( The organisation founded in 2005 was awarded NGO status in 2009. Its founder and director Ruth Nambowa grew up in difficult conditions in Uganda herself.
Her extraordinary commitment has left a lasting impression on us and has enabled her to currently offer some 40 children of all age groups the opportunity to grow up in the loving and safe environment of her orphanage and to attend school. Together with her husband Daniel Kasozi she additionally supports families and children from the surrounding villages.
Thank you for your support – we would not be able to help without it!
