About this project

H. Veitengruber from Aid That Helps is responsible for this project
AidThatHelps e.V. is a non-profit association that has been committed to the sustainable promotion of socially integrated projects in Africa since 2008 and works directly with local projects there.

By exchanging ideas with our local partners, we understand what is needed locally and how we can best help.

Through this cooperation, we ensure that all donations arrive immediately where they are needed. Thanks to our volunteer work and low administrative costs, we can achieve an average donation utilization rate of over 97%.

Currently, we are exclusively committed to the children's home "Another Hope" in Uganda (www.anotherhope.org). Founded in 2005, the organization was granted NGO status in 2009. The founder and main manager Ruth Nambowa grew up under difficult circumstances in Uganda herself and in this way wants to give the children a better start than she herself had.

With extraordinary commitment, which has left a deep impression on us, she currently offers around 40 children of all ages the opportunity to grow up and attend school in a loving and safe environment in her orphanage. Together with her husband Daniel Kasozi, she also supports families and children from the surrounding villages in financing their school attendance.

With your help, the children have a safe place to stay and can complete a school-leaving certificate and an apprenticeship, because this is the only way to break the vicious circle of poverty, lack of education and often unwanted pregnancies in the past.

Thank you very much for your support.
