D. Rescue from ? is responsible for this project
Anca, living in Craiova, Romania, is a Medicine student, 3rd year, and involved for years now, together with her mom, in rescuing abandoned pups, dogs and cats in Romania.
She wants to save as many of these defenseless animals as possible; if they stay on the streets, hidden under shrubs, dropped in parks, tossed away in boxes in parking lots, they will face a horrific fate.
It is heartbreaking to leave them behind, she's unable to do this, so she takes them with her. Their home is filled with animals, so more rescued animals have to be given into safe, reliable, private fostering.
There, they will be neutered, receive medical care, be fed, and taken care of. If possible, they will be put up for adoption.
This is costly because of the requirements for treatments, injections, passport, transportation. But she never will give up hope for them, and she is successfull and heartwarming!

'I would like to present here the cases I encounter ( I posted here also a picture showing 5 cases of strays in need which I helped lately; the 2 cats were adopted by me in the end as well), tell the strays' stories and show the world how hard it is to be a stray.
Need to mention that my activity rescues began years ago when my mother ( also a big animal lover ) initiated me in loving and protecting the defenseless strays.
Nowadays , in Romania dogs have to face up evil minds which try to harm, cripple, poison, murder them. In the Public Shelters they are left to die of starvation ( many of them begin to eat each other; small dogs / pups, in general, are killed by the bigger dogs ). They are also receiving inhumane treatments from those who catch them in a ….. brutal manner ( saying this is a friendly way ).
We have in Romania dogs burned alive, poisoned , strangulated , killed with shovels and the examples can continue..'
Because the situation in Romania is so urgent, especially under these harsh winter conditions, we're asking you all to support the fostering of the rescued animals, staying at different, mainly private , addresses, and the vet-bills, with whatever you can spare!
