We received a payout of €7,777.95

At the end of December 2025, Echo is carrying out a special New Year fundraising and media campaign linked to a large live broadcast on December 31 – January 1, hosted by journalist Maksim Kurnikov and comedian Anton Lirnyk. The goal of this project is to strengthen connections within our audience and to bring people together around independent voices during a time when communication and access to information are increasingly restricted.

As of December 29, the project is being implemented according to plan. A significant part of the program has already been prepared and recorded, and the response from the audience has been strong. The remaining work is focused on final production, technical preparation, broadcasting, and post-production.

The first part of the funds has already been used to cover production costs, including studio work, filming, technical equipment, editing, and coordination of the guests and hosts. With the next transfer of 7,700 EUR, we will cover the remaining expenses required to complete and broadcast the New Year’s special and to ensure that the recording remains available online after the live stream.

This support allows Echo to produce a high-quality, accessible New Year program and to reach audiences across different time zones, helping people stay connected and engaged with independent media.
