Nomad Sports Academy for Orphans is located in beautiful Livingstone, Zambia, on a property of 40 Hectares, only 7 km from Victoria Falls.
The property is being developed for the benefit of more than 5000 orphans and more than 10.000 underprivileged children living within the proximity of the Academy.
We are currently developing the following sports facilities:
2 football stadiums
2 tennis courts
2 basketball courts
2 volleyball courts
Swimming pool
Gym
Track and Field Sports: 100 m sprint, 400 m sprint, high jump, long jump, javelin, hurdles, marathon training facilities.
To support this project, the owners, John and Carmen Nomad have left for a Round the World Motorcycle Expedition to raise awareness and funding. More info can be found:

We have already fenced the property, planted 440 trees in the orchard and installed our water system with our own water supply.
The property will be self sustainable once completed, due to the implementation of income generating activities on site: rental of sports facilities to the local tourist industry (over 500.000 tourists every year come to Victoria Falls and there are no recreational facilities for visitors), sale of fruit and vegetables and sports club memberships. All this will create supporting income for our orphans.
This project is the only one of its kind in Africa, where orphans are not only fed and clothed, but trained by professionals to become professional athletes and develop strong characters and become leaders of the future.
