About this project

Pomelo is committed to using local materials and local artisans to produce quality, handmade products with a contemporary twist.
The producers include HIV sufferers, street youths, the mentally and physically disabled, and small family businesses fighting poverty.
Helping Hands, one of the founding producer groups of Pomelo is engaging in a partnership with AIESEC, the world's largest student organization, to bring foreign students as volunteer teachers for English, Math and other subjects to their centre in Yangon, the biggest city of Myanmar. The teachers will work with mainly street youth to improve their educational level, their understanding of different cultures and therefore their future opportunities in the emerging economy of Myanmar.
Support Pomelo and AIESEC to prepare the youth of Myanmar for their future!
