About this project

J. Münker from Healthcare IT for Africa e.V. is responsible for this project
A child is born! No matter when or where, it is the job of a midwife to be there and make life possible.
Midwives learn their profession through vocal training. This is where this project starts from. Healthcare Information Technology for Africa e.V. is active where midwives need Media in order to act professionally in critical situations.
In 2014 an exchange takes place in cooperation with the Ministry of Health in Ghana and clinics as well as houses of birth in Germany and Ghana. The participants, two Ghanaian and two German midwives, are acting as multiplicators. The art of exchange creates new knowledge, bringing about positive change in Germany and Ghana.
From 1st to 5th of June 2014, the 30th International Confederation of Midwives takes place in Prague. More than 1500 midwives from all over the world will be there. A unique opportunity for networking! Sure the participants would like to be there. You can help us make it possible.

Especially in Ghana the project needs money in order for the multiplicators to get active.
Material for moderation and presentation, equipment for the analysis of blood, babyscales, respiratory devices and e-books. With this the participants can conduct vivid workshops and display information on mobile telefones.
The money raised will be used exclusively for activities connected with the exchange. Purchased materials are owned by HITA e.V. and will be administrated by the Training Centre in Ghana. Thus we make sure that more projects such as this one may follow.
