Construction Plan Changes

Dear Supporters,

We are back with some important news about the construction! 

We hope you enjoyed our video about the Rising Education project and are still motivated as we are to complete our dream. During this time, we have continued working on the building and made some changes to the overall plan.

Due to the high request from the community in Bertoua, we decided together to make the primary school and learning centre suitable to provide services to more children. The change consists in substituting 4 the original 6 individual classroom buildings with a larger, two stories, L-shaped building. The construction will be divided into 14 rooms, 7 per floor. On the bottom floor 6 rooms will be used as classrooms taught in English. The remaining room will become a library. Similarly, on the top floor 6 rooms will be used for French taught classrooms and the remaining room will become an IT centre. 

In addition, there will be a smaller building on one side of the L- shaped construction which will be the accommodation facility for the headmaster and family. 

These changes will meet the demand for a bilingual school and will create more job opportunities within the local area.  

We are very excited about the changes and are working hard to reach our goal.
