VorOrt e.V. Dessau urgently needs support for construction work on the listed building at Wolfgangstraße 13.
VorOrt e.V., which works entirely on a voluntary basis, has been committed to the renovation and revitalization of a unique historic building since 2014: The former military hospital from 1870 - later a schoolhouse and home to the adult education center - is located in the heart of Dessau's city center. What stood empty for a long time has been given a new lease of life: as a place for creative development, social interaction and cultural exchange. VorOrt is an important beacon, especially for keeping young people in Dessau and offering them a free space.
Much has already been achieved thanks to urban development funding. However, rising construction prices and a serious setback caused by an online scam are pushing the project to its financial limits. In order for the VorOrt-Haus to continue to grow and keep its doors open for studios, co-working, urban gardening, events and social initiatives, we are now dependent on your help.
