The Goodwill social work centre proposes to take up a 'Holistic integrated Child enrichment and development services project’ for children and young people in the age group of 4-17 in low and moderate income communities in the villages and backward areas in our project locations in and around Madurai, Tamilnadu, South India with an aim of developing them academically, socially, physically and morally and the ‘Total child’ in children by nurturing and fulfilling their needs and rights.
The project will offer “Integrated services (IS) to work with children and their families which reflect a holistic understanding of children’s developmental needs and the capacities of their parents and carers to respond to their needs, within the wider family and environmental context.
It is proposed to cover 20000 children in 50 villages in the Madurai East and West Panchayat village union blocks, Tamilnadu, South India within a span of three years. The funding will be utilised towards capital requirements, administrative expenses and programme expenses.
