What problem is your organization or project addressing?
Currently, there is no playground at our sports facility at Hamburger Weg 6 in Celle. We want to change that! The football department of SV Garßen e.V. plans to build a modern, safe playground that will provide children from our club and the local community with a space for movement and play. The new playground will be a place of joy and social interaction, especially for the youngest members of our community.
Who do you want to help?
This project is aimed at children and families of SV Garßen e.V. as well as local residents of the Garßen neighborhood. The planned playground will be an open, public space, offering all children in the area a place to play, move, and spend time together.
How do you plan to proceed, and what are the steps?
- Planning and selection of play equipment: We’ve chosen a play tower with a slide, a double swing, and a seesaw for toddlers to create a versatile playground.
- Purchasing play equipment: The funds raised will go towards purchasing the play equipment and materials for installation.
- Construction and installation: The playground will be built on our sports grounds, with a focus on safe play equipment and proper installation.
- Opening and use: Once completed, the playground will be open to our club members and the public.
Who is working on this project?
The football department of SV Garßen e.V. will coordinate the project. In addition, volunteer members of the club will assist with the setup and installation. Professional contractors will ensure the safe construction and installation of the equipment.
Is there a timeline for your project?
We plan to complete the playground within the next six months. Construction is scheduled to start in the summer of 2025, with the playground expected to open by autumn 2025.
What exactly do you need donations for?
The funds raised will be used for:
- Purchase of play equipment (play tower with slide, double swing, seesaw)
- Construction and installation costs (including foundations, safety mats)
- Maintenance and upkeep of the playground
