About this project

Caroline Lauhoff from Deutsche Welthungerhilfe e.V. is responsible for this project
After more than two years of war, the crisis in Sudan is escalating dramatically. Over half of the population depends on humanitarian aid – and the need is growing every day. Many people can no longer access food or cultivate their land.

Even before the war, food insecurity was widespread. Climate disasters such as droughts and floods continue to destroy the most vital means of survival: agriculture.

638,000 people in Sudan are at immediate risk of starvation. Please support with your donation now!

How Welthungerhilfe is helping in Sudan:
  • High-calorie therapeutic food for severely malnourished babies
  • Distribution of food and cash so people can shop at local markets
  • Soap, cooking pots, and training in climate-resilient farming methods
  • Construction of toilets and washing facilities to prevent disease outbreaks

Your support makes a difference. Thank you!
