More inclusion, more confidence, more community – Programs for children with disabilities and their families 

KinderKraft & ElternNetz is a non-profit organization based in Berlin, dedicated to supporting children with disabilities and their families. Our goal is to create safe and accessible spaces where children can grow, try new things, and simply be themselves – with everything they bring along. 

Our events are lovingly designed recreational and social activities for children with disabilities and their families. These events provide opportunities for children to thrive, explore new experiences, and build a sense of community – in a safe, appreciative environment tailored to their individual needs. 

Through the positive experiences in this protected space, children begin to surpass their own limits – they discover their strengths, dare to try new things, and develop self-esteem and self-confidence. At the same time, parents and siblings find exchange, relief, and support within a warm and welcoming community. 

Examples of our events:
🎪 Circus CABUWAZI: Children dive into the magical world of the circus, try out tricks, juggle, or dance with colorful scarves. Together with professional artists, they create a small show – no pressure, just lots of applause.
🎶 Dancing Queens & Kings: Music and movement take center stage. Children can dance freely or try simple choreographies – with or without a wheelchair. Parents are welcome to watch or join in.
🍪 Christmas Bakery: We bake cookies together, decorate gingerbread, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. While the children get creative, parents have time for conversation and connection. 

Why this is important:
Children with disabilities face many barriers in everyday life – at school, during leisure activities, or in their social environment. Our events create a space where they can simply be themselves. Without pressure, but with plenty of opportunities to try new things, make friends, and create lasting memories.
