Mudra e.V. has been supporting 14 young people aged 13 to 21 for eight years in two loving youth welfare facilities – one offering full-time care and the other part-time support. Currently, eleven young people from around the globe have found a home together at our Birnthon location, despite their diverse backgrounds. Our work with youth at risk of addiction and trauma is defined by an intense, appreciative, and empathetic relationship that enables us to recognize their individual needs early on and respond to them in a tailored manner.
Our spacious residential property, nestled in a calming natural setting, offers the young people a retreat that provides security, stability, and room for personal growth. Unfortunately, we now face an urgent issue: the roof of our building is leaking and in need of comprehensive renovation. Due to the age of the building, maintenance costs have increased significantly over the past few years, presenting us with an unexpected financial burden – a challenge we can only overcome with your help and support!
The critically needed roof renovation is a decisive step to secure the continuity of our important work and to preserve the quality of life for the young people in our care. With a modern, energy-efficient approach, we aim not only to reduce future costs but also to lessen the ecological footprint of our facility. Your support makes it possible for us to take this crucial step and continue to offer the young people a safe, sustainable home where they can grow and thrive.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your commitment and engagement!
