Alexander Prinz x Chainreaction Bike Convoy x Ambulances for Ukraine

We are cyclists – and we have a plan. We want to fund and deliver ten ambulances to Ukraine to help save lives. Since we are cyclists, we will ride from Munich to Lviv in western Ukraine in July 2025. The ambulances will accompany us as support vehicles and will be handed over to the Ukrainian emergency services upon arrival. Every cyclist is invited to support the project or join us on the ride.

Because we are cyclists. Because we help people in need. Because we are many. Because we take action when our friends are in danger. Because we are a strong network of cyclists, capable of moving mountains when we stand together and start a chain reaction.

A used ambulance costs between 12,000 and 20,000 euros, depending on the model and year. We will purchase the vehicles with our partner organization Bamberg:UA e.V., which has already delivered over 160 emergency vehicles and more than 900 tons of medical supplies to Ukraine since February 2022.

Each ambulance is TÜV-certified and equipped with an evacuation stretcher, defibrillator, infusion pump, vacuum pump, and oxygen device. The vehicles will be handed over by Bamberg:UA e.V. to emergency teams in Lviv and deployed in eastern and southern Ukraine.

On average, one ambulance saves up to five lives per day.
Every vehicle makes a difference.
