What Problem Are We Addressing?
In our increasingly digital society, many people are excluded from essential digital services. Older adults and those with little prior experience using digital technologies often face significant challenges. They lack the support needed to use digital tools safely and independently. The result: social isolation, limited access to vital information, and barriers to participating in society.
At FördiKo, we empower people of all ages to navigate the digital world safely and confidently.

Who Are We?
FördiKo is a non-profit educational institute with an interdisciplinary team of media educators, senior trainers, and gerontologists. We also collaborate with local and national partners, including welfare organizations (e.g., Caritas, AWO, DRK), educational institutions, and municipalities.

Who Do We Help?
👉 Children & Youth – We promote digital literacy, helping young people critically assess media, not just consume it, and use it creatively.
👉 Adults – Our hands-on training enhances digital skills for work and everyday life.
👉 Seniors – We support older adults in using smartphones, tablets, and the internet safely—enhancing their independence and social inclusion. We also provide digital support in care settings.
👉 People with Disabilities – We create accessible learning opportunities and introduce innovative VR technologies for new experiences.
👉 Volunteers & Professionals – We train multipliers who guide others into the digital world.
👉 Organizations & Associations – We develop customized concepts and training programs for accessible digital education.
