Training pitch in Esslingen - a dream comes true

This is what cricket training used to look like: At least a third of the limited time was spent setting up and dismantling the training pitch - heavy wooden planks were dragged, anchored and stowed away again. Feasible for men, impossible for kids. But a new era is set to begin in the new year: A permanent pitch has been built in the Weil sports park according to ergonomic principles, enabling training under optimized conditions for young and old. And it's not just the new cricket section that benefits, the facility is also suitable for baseball. What is still missing, however, is a suitable catching system to ensure that the hard balls do not, quite literally, go off track.  We would be grateful for your donation towards the construction of the so-called “cages”.
