Donations for international animal protection projects in Ukraine, Portugal

The war in Ukraine has now been going on for over 1,000 days. The effects on people are unimaginable – and countless animals are also suffering as a result of this humanitarian disaster. We recently received a call for help from a local animal rights activist.

Over 450 cats, many of them seriously injured, urgently need help. The pictures we received are so shocking that we could not include them in this email. Nevertheless, it is clear: we must act!

We would like to tell you about our board member Gabi, who has been committed to animal welfare in Portugal for years. Her work is impressive: she mainly focuses on catching and neutering stray cats to prevent uncontrolled reproduction and suffering. We provide financial support to cover the neutering costs – an essential contribution to sustainable animal welfare.
