Füchse Berlin x Namibia - Multisport-Center in Ongwediva

Together with Tulimevava Nghilalulwa, Füchse Berlin is developing a multisport centre in Onwediva, Namibia. Tuli is a former Füchse Berlin volunteer and built the multi-sport centre in Onwediva after his return to Namibia. There are currently two sports fields with cracked concrete floors where the children and young people can practise various sports. Mostly without proper sportswear and in flip-flops. The pitch is not in good condition and urgently needs to be renovated. Plans for this have already been drawn up. The city council has already promised its approval and help. Now the financial resources are lacking. However, the first small goals, such as installing rubbish bins and cleaning the pitch, have already been realised. 

Füchse Berlin has been supporting the project with sports materials and clothing since Tuli's return. In September 2024, the first volunteer from Germany was sent to Namibia by Füchse Berlin to support Tuli in his project and its development. 

The next steps are now the renovation of the sports field and the purchase of a container as storage space and for sanitary facilities.
